About Vall d'or Golf
Vall D´or 18-hole golf course par 71, 5.539 m long from white tees. It combines two completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a forest of pine, almond and olive trees. The first 9 holes are of an extraordinary beauty and design. They are on small hills covered with pine, olive and almond trees. The greens are small and are well protected but they take approach shots well. The last 9 holes are different from the first nine; they feature hilly fairways and were built on open ground leading down to the coast. It is a very interesting and attractive golf course, located in the middle of a wonderful landscape with fantastic sea views.

Great views of the ocean from hillsides. Back 9 greens very tricky. Very enjoyable day for 8 friends on holiday as welcoming and accommodating club.

Sehr schöner und teilweise anspruchsvoller Golfplatz. Nie langweilig, sehr abwechslungsreich. Bietet Herausforderungen für Golfer aller HCP-Klassen. Fantastische Ausblicke aufs Meer.

Staying in Cala D’Or it would’ve been rude not to pay a visit to Vall D’Or, a 20 minute drive inland. Set up on the hill, the course has stunning views of the surrounding areas down to Portocolom in the near distance. Arriving for the first tee time with the sun still yet to come up we didn’t leave ourselves enough time to use the driving range but instead headed off to the first tee. A quirky start! An uphill, 140 meter par 3 to get you loosened up and headed towards the higher part of the course and some stunning holes. The front 9 is awesome, weaving through thickets of pine & almond trees over hugely undulating fairways. Straight after the first hole, you’re hit with 310 meter par 4 which doesn’t seem long but it narrow and straight up the hill to a narrow, raised green. Having played Alcanada the day before, these greens were a stark contrast in how much smaller and harder to hit they were. The 3rd hole has the best view on the course. An elevated tee that gives you views all the way down to the waters of Portocolom. The back 9 is on the lower part of the course and has more of a traditional parkland feel to it with a bit more margin for error. The 13th is a really fun hole, a par 5 at no more than 450 meters with an elevated tee down to the fairway, you’re then left with a completely blind approach over the hill to the green if you choose to go for it. I feel they would benefit from switching the 9’s and finishing with what is currently the front 9. After finishing the round we had a quick beer at the clubhouse to soak in those views once more before heading off. For €100 a round this is definitely worth it for a great round whilst on holiday!

Beautiful golf course, spacious car park, restaurant with stunning views over the golf course and the countryside, and you could even see the sea. We enjoyed a delicious club sandwich and good service. The golf course is well maintained, signage is good, and we played the first 9 holes, which looked good. Beautiful hilly landscapes and we had a buggy at 30 degrees, which was not unnecessary. Definitely a solid 8 from us.

Vall d'Or is an 18-hole golf course par 71, 5.538 meters long from white tees. It combines two completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a forest of pine, almond and olive trees. The back nine holes have wider and more uneven fairways that go down towards the coast. The greens, protected by bunkers, welcome all approach shots. It is an average-difficulty golf course but quite entertaining, and with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea.
