The golf course looks good for this time of year, sand in bunkers could be better.

Very good value and a decent test for a high handicapper like me. Awful practice facilities. It felt like entering an open prison.

This is one of THE best public golf courses in the south east of the UK.

It is in immaculate condition. The greens are the highlight. Main hazards come in the form of bunkers, as there is no water on the course.

Overall, the course is par 69 so there are only two pars 5. But it's still a change with long par threes, plenty of slopes, trees and rough. One of the par fours is the hardest on the course and could be extended to a par five. Also some bunkers could do with a up of sand. But this is an incentive to avoid them!

There's a lovely little par 3 course to practice your short game and a driving range. Sometimes it can get very busy, especially in the mornings.
