Lancaster Golf Club

Fantastic club all round. I was warmly welcomed in the well stocked pro shop of this breath taking setting. The course was in fantastic condition for the time of year and the adverse weather conditions that we’ve had, zero complaints from me. The clubhouse is a thing of beauty, could do with a little bit of tlc here and there inside but had a lovely pint and was warmly greeted by the lovely staff. Great practice/warm up facilities too. 10 out of 10!!

We were made very welcome by the club from the minute we arrived until the moment we left. The course was excellent - in great condition despite the very dry summer we have had, and provided a real challenge. The clubhouse is stunning, and we were made to feel welcome by members and staff alike, with very tasty food served after our round

Great facilities and impressive clubhouse greet you on arrival. The course is challenging and has some interesting holes but plenty of wide fairways to hit as well. It is very well looked after and was in great condition. Love the views along the way and a great 18th hole. One of my favourites and I hope to return.

First time playing at Lancaster. Great course in great surroundings. Played a 4 ball with golfers of all skill levels. I would definitely recommend the course and look forward to playing there again soon.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.... We received a really warm welcome within the clubhouse, greeted with a smiles and very courteous staff. The breakfast before our golf was very good, served in the clubhouse with a fantastic view out onto the golf course, which really made you want to get out onto the course... We were not disappointed when out on the golf course - it was in excellent condition, really good playing surfaces throughout a really good layout. Greens were good, ran at a good speed and maintained the line when putting. Great to talk to the greenstaff, they showed real pride in their work and it was most evident throughout each of the holes. The pro-shop is excellent, really well equipped and again a really welcoming, polite and courteous professional. I would whole heartedly recommend a visit to Lancaster GC for a truly great day's golf on a fantastic golf course and warm, friendly clubhouse staff......
