About Loch Ness Golf Course (Fairway Leisure)
Loch Ness is one of the Highland's most popular courses with superb views over Inverness, the Moray Firth and the Black Isle. With a variety of great holes, long par fives and birdie opportunity par fours it has its fair share of surprises. The 14th is an outstanding little hole. At only 76-yards its challenge doesn't seem too daunting. However, with nothing between the tee and the green but a deep gully nursing a burn at the bottom, the challenge becomes all too aware. A great welcoming is assured to all visitors in the clubhouse, which now houses an impressive 60-seater restaurant.

Loch Ness New CourseMooie parkbaan. Goed onderhouden greens en fairways. Par 3 holes zijn heel leuk. Enige wat ontbreekt is duidelijke beschrijving hoe de hole loopt.

Loch Ness New CourseGoed onderhouden baan die interessant en uitdagend is dankzij hoogteverschillen en blinde slagen. De Par-3 holes speel omlaag, leuk! De lage beoordeling op Leadingcourses is zeker niet terecht anno 2018. Ben je in de buurt? Ga zeker spelen, je krijgt geen spijt.
Loch Ness New CourseThe course was in good condition when I played. Greens were in condition but the rough was absolutely brutal. If it goes in the thick stuff, you can forget it. The bunkers are not the best as the sand has loads of wee stones in them.
The par 3's are quite challenging due to elevation changes. The course is on the side of a hill so expect the ball to venture towards the edge of the fairway often.
Great views of the surrounding area.
Overall a good course in my opinion.

Loch Ness New CourseGolf rustique, un peu accidenté, peu entretenu même un jour de compétition. Marquage peu visible (s'il existe), des longueurs lassantes...
Parfois vue sur la mer et Inverness.
Mais peut-être que le temps (crachin) y était pour quelque chose...
Restaurant moyen.
Club House : l'accent écossais est quand même difficile à comprendre pour un français!
