Tain Golf Club in Ross-Shire is a classic Scottish Highland links course designed by Old Tom Morris in 1890 situated 9 miles south of Dornoch and 34 miles north of Inverness. The Tain golf course is always in excellent condition with fantastic greens. We offer a varied selection of drinks and food at Old Tom's Bar & Restaurant and with everyone receiving a warm highland welcome we are confident that you will want to return time and time again.

Membership description
Tain Golf Clubs - new members can take up the fantastic offer of full membership for just £295. Country/Non Resident membership is available for £250 and the full range of benefits can be seen on our website, www.tain-golfclub.co.uk. We have reciprocal arrangements with over 20 other golf courses (including Royal Dornoch) which, as a member entitles you to play them from as little as £10. There are many other membership categories starting from £10 and Social/non playing membership is also available for only £10. As a Country/Non Resident member you are welcome to hold your handicap at Tain and play in all club and open competitions with the same entitlement to win prizes as full members. Oude baan die begint met hole 1 over een weg en hek heen wat vreemd is. Fairways soms wat kale plekken en erg heuvelig dus soms wat geluk hebben met de landing is wel handig. Leuke dogleg hole en een mooie blinde green op de 2e 9. Green waren snel en de vlag soms moeilijk gestoken dus een 3 put was zo gemaakt. Verder erg vriendelijk ontvangen door de caddymaster en die …

Superbe links bien dans la tradition écossaise... Vent très présent donc très compliqué à jouer surtout de face. Fairway très ondulés se qui donne beaucoup de charme au parcours Très grand green.

Beau parcours bien venteux avec quelques trous en aveugle et des départs compliqués parfois pour les dames. Super accueil au pro-shop. A refaire sans hésiter.
