If you want to walk the fairways of the pros, Corales Golf Course in Cap Cana is an absolute must. As a host venue for the PGA Tour in 2026, the course radiates a professional atmosphere that every golfer should experience at least once. Design & Views: Designed by Tom Fazio, the course is a visual masterpiece. The layout is expansive and fair, but the real magic happens when you reach the ocean. The views of the Caribbean cliffs are spectacular, providing a dramatic backdrop that makes it hard to focus on your swing. The conditioning is world-class, exactly what you would expect from a Tour stop. The "Devil’s Elbow" (The Finale): The finishing holes are legendary, but the 18th hole is the undisputed star. Teeing off over the bay to a cliff-side fairway is one of the most exhilarating shots in golf. It’s a nerve-wracking, beautiful, and rewarding finish that justifies the green fee on its own. Facilities & Service: It’s important to know how the club is set up: The Pro Shop at the course itself is relatively small, as Corales shares some of its main infrastructure with a second clubhouse nearby. Similarly, the bar on-site is cozy and small—perfect for a quick post-round drink, but it's more about the golf here than a massive lounge scene. That said, the service is top-notch and very focused. Designer: Tom Fazio (opened in 2010). PGA Tour Status: Home to the Corales Puntacana Championship. The Highlight: The "Devil’s Elbow" (Holes 16, 17, and 18) – a world-famous finishing stretch along the sea. Tip: Be prepared for the wind; it’s the course’s primary defense! Verdict: Corales is a pure "bucket list" course. It’s a pure, high-end golf experience where the design and the ocean take center stage. If you are in Cap Cana, play it—especially to challenge yourself on that iconic 18th hole!

Prachtige baan, mooie ligging. Onderhoud prima. Brede fairways. Grote greens. Niet super snel. Blijkbaar slappe tijden.
