The Point at PolzeathMooie afwisselende baan met goede fairways en greens. Jammer genoeg slechte kwaliteit van de afslagplaatsen als gevolg van ontbreken beregening. Ik heb ook een les genomen bij de pro Phil in een mooie lesstudio. Heb het nodige van hem opgestoken en ik vind hem een aanrader.

The Point at PolzeathThe Point at Polzeath heeft beroemde buren en zal daar nooit mee kunnen wedijveren maar dat gezegd hebbende hebben de eigenaars van het terrein een leuke baan neergelegd. Niet spectaculair, maar goed voor een fijne golfdag. Opvallende holes zijn de par-3 zevende en de par-4 tiende. Het heuvelachtige terrein komt nergens meer tot uitdrukking dan op deze twee holes.

18 holesThe 18 hole golf course has stunning views out over Hayle Bay and Pentire Point. The Point course is a real challenge for golfers of all standards and plays just short of 6300 yards off the back tees. As a result of the recent investment, the greens are now considered to be among the best in the county and the presentation of the course is hard to fault. Most holes have seen significant changes with improvement to fairway definition, bunkers, tees and greens.
