About Littlestone Golf Club - Championship Links
Littlestone Golf Club was founded back in 1888 and is home to two golf courses: The Championship Links Course (18 holes) and the Warren Course (original a 9 hole layout but extended in 1993 to a full 18 holes). Littlestone GC is set on the edge of the famous Romney Marsh, this stretch of coastline enjoys a unique micro-climate which makes it one of the driest spots in Britain.
Littlestone has a limited number of clubs to rent, should you wish to hire a set, please contact the pro shop. a few buggies are for hire and although they are on course for most of the year, in severe spells of wet weather we will take them off, so please confirm with the pro shop team.

Championship Links Course
Mooie maar technisch een moeilijke linksbaan. Fairway en rough lastig van elkaar te onderscheiden. Geen bewegwijzering en hole infoborden. Nauwkeurig spelen is een must. Eenmaal in de rough ben je kansloos om je par te redden.

Voor de eerste maal via Eurotunnel de oversteek gemaakt en op goed geluk een golfbaan geselecteerd die niet zo ver van Folkestone verwijdert ligt. Wat een meevaller! Championship Links Course
All we could see was sky.
Mrs W and I found ourselves in the deep bunker at the side of the 17th green where Maurice Flitcroft's horror was recreated for the hilarious movie The Phantom Of The Open.
Fortunately, it took only one thinned recovery rather than Flitcroft’s infamous 12 to extricate myself and Mrs W followed suit with a rather more impressive splash.
