Renaissance 1/1
Holes: 18
The course at the Renaissance Golf was designed by Tom Doak and opened for play in 2008. The course is a links-style course, although it is quite undulating and with quite some penal rough. Three new holes have been added - 9, 10 and 11 - which run along Firth of Forth and provide some of the spectacular views.

Tom Doak's masterpiece is as tough a test as you'll find in Scotland, with some spectacular and challenging long par 4s as well as a good mix of interesting and varied length par 5s and 3s. There have been some changes to the course this winter as a result of player feedback from the previous 3 Scottish Opens, with new fairway bunkers added on 1,4 and 7 and the 7th fair…

Amazing estate looks like there course is there a lot longer then 14 years. Grest service and maintenance and excellent design by Tom Doak, probably the most knowledgeable US architect on classic (links) courses. The first four holes start at the back of the clubhouse and then you proceed to the front in the direction of the sea. The green complexes are amazing super sh…

I'm a member so somewhat biased, but the golf course has been in stunning condition all year, probably the best overall condition in it's 15 year history. The real reason for another review is however as an excuse to post the 2 photos, which were taken by a fellow member out for an early morning dog walk! Pictures, as they say, paint a thousand words! Nothing more to ad…
