The Vale of Llangollen Golf Club was founded in 1908. Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ONB) and within the designated area of a World Heritage Site (The Froncysyllte Aquaduct). Approaching Llangollen on the northbound A5, the clubhouse is just off the road and from it the course slopes down to the lush floor of the valley.
Our championship course, with its manicured fairways and superb greens, nestles on the banks of the River Dee. The Vale of Llangollen is regarded as one of the top golf courses in Wales.
Vale of Llangollen Golf Course is set in a beautiful setting on the valley floor beside the River Dee and overlooked by the glorious Welsh hills. The river holes at 9, 15 and 16 are outstanding and the 9th is regarded as one of the best holes in British golf. The 18th makes for a memorable finishing hole.
