Golf courses in Lombardy

Lombardy has more golf courses than any other Italian region, and that is closely tied to the region's economic prosperity and its proximity to the major Northern European golf markets. Golfers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria have known Lombardy for years, and for Dutch golfers it is a natural destination for a long golf weekend. Villa d'Este is one of the most iconic golf settings in Europe: a course on the shores of Lake Como, surrounded by historic villas and a landscape that surprises you at every hole. Milan has two international airports, Malpensa and Linate, with excellent connections from the Netherlands. Most top courses are between half an hour and an hour from the city.
