Rosapenna Golf Resort
Ik ben totaal overdonderd door deze nieuwste aanwinst van het resort. Tom Doak gaat met St. Patrick's terug naar het oorspronkelijke golf. Geen rare design fratsen, de fairways lopen heel natuurlijk over in de (enorme) greens. Ook de bunkers zien er compleet natuurlijk uit, als er soort zandverwaaiingen. De fairways zijn overwegend breed, dus de hogere handicapper kan wel…

Portsalon Golf Club
De 2e hole langs het strand was fantastisch. Door het echte Ierse weer, veel wind en regen, lastig te bespelen. Helaas ook maar 9 holes kunnen spelen omdat we, ondanks regenkleding, tot op ons hemd nat waren. Maar de baan lag er verder perfect bij.

Ballyliffin Golf Club
Underbart ställe som faktiskt inte kostar särskilt mycket i relation till vad du får. Det är lite meckigt att ta sig till den a plats i nordligaste Nordirland, och det märks på sätt och vis av. Människorna är härligt genuina och golfen står i första rum. Banorna är väldigt olika, Glashedy den moderna tävlingsbanan, men båda är ett måste att spela.
