Golf courses in Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol has earned the nickname Costa del Golf, and every round played here confirms why. The strip between Málaga and Gibraltar — roughly seventy kilometres — contains a concentration of courses that includes several among the finest in Europe. Within a few kilometres lie Finca Cortesín and Club de Golf La Reserva Sotogrande, both of which could headline any other region in Europe. The region is served by Málaga Airport, one of the busiest in Spain, with direct flights from across Europe and from multiple Dutch airports. The climate is excellent for golf from October to May; summer is hot, but early tee times make it manageable.
