About Galway Bay Golf Resort
Founded in 1993 and designed by Ryder Cup legend Christy O'Connor Jnr, Galway Bay Golf Resort is neither a parkland nor a links course - straddling the Wild Atlantic Way, you can hear the waves lapping the shore on a few of the fabulous 18 holes - many golf balls have been lost into the Atlantic Ocean over the last 25 years. A challenging par 72 7000yard course, Galway Bay welcomes golfers of all levels from all over the World all year round, and has a brand new clubhouse and a traditional warm Irish welcome to greet you after you finish, with food and drink served 7 days a week!

Galway Bay
This is a challenging course that makes use of the natural features of the land. Fast, shallow greens can make it very tricky but the fairways are wide and fairly forgiving. Very friendly staff and members here too.
