Bleadon Hill Golf Club

Bleadon Hill is a compact, friendly course located just south of Weston-super-Mare, offering elevated views across the surrounding area. Its hillside setting provides plenty of character but also presents a real challenge, with sloping fairways that can turn a well-struck tee shot into a tricky recovery from the rough. Recent years have seen a noticeable improvement in course conditioning, particularly on the greens, thanks to the work of the head greenkeeper who joined from Wells Golf Club two years ago. The putting surfaces are now in good shape, running smoothly and adding to the enjoyment of the round. The fairways, while playable, still show the effects of the baked-out slopes during dry spells, making placement and control essential. Bleadon Hill is not about perfection but about a relaxed atmosphere, unique terrain, and an enjoyable game in a scenic location.
