Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club
Taunton & Pickeridge, an 1892 Herbert Fowler masterpiece, was later remodelled by Fred Hawtree. A thoroughly enjoyable course from start to finish. Playing sensibility, you can get around this course with a respectable score; however, if you are chasing birdies or your handicap, expect some nasty surprises. Burnham & Berrow Golf Club
This is a MUST PLAY golf course, played it a few times now and it only gets better the more you play it. Its a traditional links course out and back in... the clubhouse has "that feel" about it - you could sit on the sofa and watch the world go by. Food was superb. Shop is well stocked and fabulous practice facilities. Not cheap but quality you pay for.

Located south of Bristol and on the hillside below the Iron Age fort (Cadbury Camp) lies Tickenham Golf club. Family run and designed by Andrew Sutcliff this club has a welcoming feeling to it. I was immediately greeted that moment I entered.
