As the country is so big, landscapes and weather can differ quite a bit. In the northern part you have  Côte d’Opale for example. This region is home to some sensational golf courses, but sometimes the weather can let you down a bit.

If you are a golfer that’s looking for a bit more stable climate, then golf in the south of France might just be your perfect golf destination. We went ahead and made a list for you with the 8 best golf courses in the South of France.

*This ranking is based on golf courses in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur that have more than 30 reviews on Leadingcourses.com. Updated on May 22nd, 2020.

This prestigious 18-hole golf course was designed by Gary Player and is situated in an exceptional setting at 1000 meters altitude. The course, guarded by seven lakes, is challenging but very enjoyable for both high and low handicappers. We recommend to take a buggy, due to the hills.
