Golf in Sussex

Sussex is a historic county in South East England and although it has a long coastline, strangely enough it does not have a lot of links courses. Sussex is home to quaint, historic villages, stunning coastline and gently rolling inland hills. Sussex is great for golf as this coastal county is the sunniest place in the United Kingdom. Established in 1887, Brighton & Hove Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Sussex. Its a 9-hole downland-links course with 18 tees.

I was looking for a course where I could get a quick round in on my way to Gatwick Airport before flying home... Ipsly was a very good choice. Located just 10 minutes from the airport and the only decent golf course where I could get around noon tee time on Sunday and wasn't fully packed. Layout is very nice and enjoyable with some nice holes like 2,3,6,7,9,12,15 and 16.…

Seaford Head Golf Course

Seaford Head Golf Course
