Golf in Moray
Moray Golf Club, designed by Old Tom Morris, is the most well-known golf course in Moray and dates back to 1889. Moray’s low rainfall, warm sunshine and mild coastal airs make the Moray courses playable practically all year round. Moray offers some classic coastal links courses at Moray and Cullen, but also some courses with nice views of the hills, such as the course at Rothes. When visiting Moray for a golf break, make sure to play: Moray Golf Club, Cullen Golf Club, Spey Bay Golf Club and Duff House Royal Golf Club. You can even combine these - if you fly into Inverness - with some of the great links courses in that area, like Nairn and Castle Stuart.
Moray Speyside is home to more than half of Scotland's Scotch Whisky Distilleries and some world-renowned food producers such as Walkers Shortbread, Baxters and luxury brands like Johnstons of Elgin. Moray Speyside also counts the largest population of Bottlenose Dolphins in the UK among its many natural wonders.
Moray is just a one hour drive away from both Inverness and Aberdeen airports, nestling between the Scottish Highlands, the Cairngorms National Park and Aberdeenshire.
